Before performing an upgrade, determine if an upgrade path is available for your appliance and operating system version.
For a Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system upgrade, it is recommended that you subscribe to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux EUS channel to stay on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7. For more information, see the Red Hat Knowledgebase.
