User configurable ports

  • The default firewall global policies have the default ports for each OneFS service. OneFS allows for the SSH, HTTP, S3, and NDMP port numbers to be updated. If any of the default port settings have been changed to accommodate specific environmental requirements, the port settings must also be updated in the global policies.

    Note: As port numbers of critical services are changed, understand that the service is blocked when the rule is updated. For example, consider if the port number for SSH is changed through an active SSH session. Be sure to practice caution with the --live parameter in the CLI, because changes may impact an active management session.
