OneFS host-based firewall

  • PowerScale OneFS Release 9.5.0.0 introduces a host-based firewall for cluster security. A perimeter-based firewall is recommended as a best practice in addition to the OneFS host-based firewall. The perimeter-based firewall continues to protect the private network from a public network. A host-based firewall takes security a step further to protect the host from any threats within the private network.
