Flushing DNS and OneFS

Flushing DNS and OneFS

  • After DNS records are updated or DNS issues are corrected, it is essential to ensure OneFS and the site DNS server have the updated DNS records. As a best practice, run a DNS flush on OneFS and the DNS server.

    The OneFS command isi network dnscache flush flushes the DNS cache on OneFS. Follow this command by flushing the cache on the site DNS server.
