Enhanced Linked Mode

  • Enhanced Linked Mode (ELM) considerations include:

    • ELM is supported in VxRail 7.x clusters only. ELM is not supported in earlier releases of VxRail.
    • ELM is not supported between a customer-managed vCenter Server and a VxRail managed vCenter Server. ELM is only supported between VxRail managed vCenter Server instances.
    • Up to 15 VxRail managed vCenter Server instances can be linked.
    • Clusters running VxRail 7.0.100 or later can enable ELM during the VxRail initial build process.
    • Clusters running VxRail 7.0.200 or later can enable ELM between VxRail managed vCenter Server instances as a Day 2 operation after the VxRail initial build is completed.
