To support multiple hosts running Oracle Linux KVM, administrators can use Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager. It is based on the open source oVirt project. The heart of this management solution is the oVirt Engine, which is used to discover Oracle Linux KVM hosts and configure storage and networking for virtualized data centers. Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (available for x86 hardware) provides a high performance, modern, web-based UI. For most operations, users can rely on the administration portal or the lightweight VM portal.
After logging in to the administration portal, users will be presented with a dashboard view displaying key information about the deployment such as VM counts, hosts count, clusters, storage and so on. It also displays the status of each entity and key performance metrics.
