Viewing alerts

  • To view the alerts in the OpenShift web console:

    1. Log in to the CSAH node.
    1. Obtain the Alert Manager route:

    [core@csah-pri ~]$ oc get routes --all-namespaces |grep -i alertmanager

    openshift-monitoring       alertmanager-main   alertmanager-main-openshift-monitoring.apps.ocp.demo.lab          alertmanager-main   web        reencrypt/Redirect     None

    1. Open a web browser and paste in the URL (in the preceding example, it is alertmanager-main-openshift-monitoring.apps.ocp.demo.lab).
    2. Log in as kubeadmin or as a cluster admin user.
