  • To meet the criteria of upgrading firmware and configuring many switches simultaneously, the Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) service is used. ZTP can also assist in performing connectivity checks after upgrade by adding it in a user-defined JSON file. In this chapter, we further looked at the advantage of using ZTP, the process involved in ZTP, a use case example for a user-defined JSON file for use in ZTP, and an example of invoking the ZTP service, verifying the status of ZTP, and stopping ZTP service.
