  • Rally runs on a separate host to benchmark the performance of the Elasticsearch cluster that is hosted on a VxRail cluster, as shown in the figure below.

    Use Case

    Using Rally, we selected and ran the http_logs track. This track contains data gathered about the trips of Yellow company Taxis in New York in 2015. It can be downloaded from  https://data.cityofnewyork.us/Transportation/2015-Yellow-Taxi-Trip-Data/ba8s-jw6u
