  • This section includes both Layer 2 and Layer 3 configuration examples to enable connectivity between the MX7000 CO nodes and PowerFlex SO nodes. The solution required all four switch slots in the MX7000 Chassis (both A and B side) to be populated. The customer data and management used the A pair of switches, while the storage traffic was isolated to the B pair of switches. The traffic separation helped provide the PowerFlex required redundancy.
