Configuration details | - Log in into ESXi vSphere web client.
- Go to Manage > System > Advanced Settings.
- To export logs to a central logging server, search for Syslog.global.LogHost.
- In the following window, enter protocol (UDP), followed by IP/FQDN, and then the port number. For example: udp://192.168.1.1:514.
- Click Save.

Verification steps | - Log in to the syslog central logging server.
- Search for the ESXi host's FQDN or IP address.
- Confirm that logs from the ESXi host are actively being updated.
