Server 1 (nontiered)
Historian recommendations - small
- VM with one vCPU: four Intel 2.4 GHz processor cores or faster
- vRAM 4 GB or higher
- vNIC 1 Gbps or faster
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SP3 Standard Edition or later
- SQL memory clamped at 512 MB
- 12-hour history block duration
Server 2 (nontiered)
Historian recommendations - medium
- VM with four vCPUs: two 2.7 GHz Intel Xeon cores or faster
- vRAM 4 GB or higher
- vNIC 1 Gbps or faster
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SP3 Standard Edition or later
- SQL memory clamped at 1024 MB
- 4-hour history block duration
Server 3 (nontiered)
Historian recommendations - medium/large
- VM with four vCPUs: eight Intel Xeon 3.4 GHz CPUs cores or faster
- vRAM 16 GB or higher
- vNIC 1 Gbps or faster
