Dell AppSync is an optional software that enhances the overall application protection supported by the software. You can create application consistent snapshots of a block volume or volume group using AppSync for the supported applications such as Oracle databases and Microsoft SQL Server. With its deep integration of PowerStore and applications, AppSync uses the native PowerStore asynchronous replication, snapshot, and thin clone technologies to create and manage local and remote copies of applications.
