The Incremental Forever backup feature in PowerScale enables OneFS to continuously provide the incremental changes since the last successful full or incremental backup. This feature removes the requirement to perform a full backup after no more than nine incremental backups using Level 1 to 9, Level 0 performs a full backup. It maintains the benefits of smaller and faster incremental backups forever or for as long as is defined by your organization.
Commvault has integrated with this feature, and it is also enabled by default on NDMP backups of an PowerScale cluster.
