Before you present PowerFlex storage as external storage LUNs to VxRail dynamic nodes, verify that the following requirements are met:
- Support for PowerFlex as external storage is introduced with VxRail system software version 7.0.320. All VxRail cluster components must be running at least this version.
- DNS and NTP are acquired as a part of the infrastructure requirement.
- vCenter is up and running with an appropriate license (as per your environment requirement) and datacenter name configured in it.
- PowerFlex storage-only nodes are configured and deployed. For more information, see Deployment procedures for Linux-based systems.
PowerFlex gateway and presentation server (PowerFlex GUI) are configured and deployed as a part of the PowerFlex setup.
