SLOB I/O workload

  • For this solution, Oracle SLOB (Silly Little Oracle Benchmark) tool is used to generate the database workload. SLOB is an Oracle database schema and workload generation tool kit. SLOB is used to stress the system, validate best practices, generate random or sequential I/O, and to demonstrate the capabilities of the full system while running an actual Oracle database workload.
