CloudIQ takes a number of precautions to protect your data while it is in transit and at rest. In addition, as part of Dells typical secure development lifecycle, CloudIQ was built with architectural controls. This standard specifies the security-focused activities that Dell product teams must perform when developing and releasing products in order for Dell products to reduce the risks of security vulnerabilities to our products and client environments.
CloudIQ uses information from the user profile saved in Dell Service Center relating to corporate and site mapping for access control. For example, when a user registers for a Dell account, a user profile is established and linked to a valid company profile.
CloudIQ gives each customer a safe, independent view of their systems, ensuring that they can only see their own data in CloudIQ. Each user can only see systems in CloudIQ that are part of their site Role Based Access Control, as defined by their Dell Service Center configuration.
