This section describes how to change the SupportAssist Enterprise credentials.
Prerequisite
Before running the procedure:
- Use Remote Desktop to connect to the MGMT VM.
- Ensure that you have the new credentials for the account or accounts.
Procedure
To update the OpenManage Enterprise local user credentials:
- In a web browser, log in to https://<MGMTVM_IP>:5700/SupportAssist/resx/login.jsp.
- Go to Devices > Manage Credentials > Account Credentials.
- Select iDRAC credential, and then click Edit.
- In the Edit Account Credentials window, enter the new password in Password, as shown in the following figure, and then click Update.


- From the navigation menu, go to Devices > View Devices.
- Select all devices, and then click Validate Inventory.



- Wait a few minutes for the inventory validation job to run, and then confirm that it has a Success status (figure shows an In Progress status).


Note: If the status returns Failed, verify that the credential was modified correctly, and then reattempt the inventory validation.
Updating OpenManage Enterprise adapter
Procedure
If OpenManage Enterprise credentials have been updated, to ensure that SupportAssist Enterprise continues to connect to OpenManage Enterprise, update the OpenManage Enterprise adapter credentials:
- In a web browser, log in to https://<MGMTVM_IP>:5700/SupportAssist/resx/login.jsp.
- Go to Extensions > Manage Adapters.
- Select the adapter, and then click Edit.
- In the Edit Adapter window, enter the new OpenManage Enterprise password in Password.


- Click Update.
- Wait a few minutes for the update to run, and then confirm that it has a Connected status.
