This section describes how to change the OpenManage Network Manager credentials.
Prerequisite
Before running the procedure:
- Use Remote Desktop to connect to the MGMT virtual machine.
- Ensure that you have the new credentials for the account or accounts.
If the account that runs the OpenSSH File Service for OpenManage Network Manager is changed, you must do the following procedure.
Note: If you are unsure what account is being used, follow the procedure and stop if the user account does not match the account that is modified.
Procedure
To update the authentication settings:
- In a web browser, log in to https://<MGMTVM_IP>:8443/.
- Select Configuration Management.
- Under File Servers, select External, as shown in the following figure:

- To open the Editing External File Server: OpenSSH window, right-click the AzS-FTP file server, and then select Edit.
- Go to Authentication Settings.
- Confirm that the login is the account that you modified.
- In Password, enter the new password that was set for the account.
- Click Test and confirm that the update is successful:

- Click Save.
Updating web user account credentials
Procedure
To change the OpenManage Network Manager web user credentials:
- In a web browser, log in to https://<MGMTVM_IP>:8443/.
- From the menu, choose Go to > Control Panel from the list, as shown in the following figure:


- From the menu, select Users and Organizations.
- Select the user, for example, Administrator.
- From the User Information menu, select Password.
- Under Password, enter the password in New Password and Enter Again, as shown in the following figure:

- From the menu, click Save.
- After the window reloads (it takes a few seconds), from the menu, click Sign Out.
- From the login window, enter Screen Name and Password for the modified account.
If the switch credentials have been modified, you must update the SSH authentication profile in OpenManage Network Manager.
Procedure
To update the SSH authentication profile:
- In a web browser, log in to https://<MGMTVM_IP>:8443/.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Under Authentications, find AzureStack Switch SSHv2, as shown in the following figure:


- To open the Editing Authentication window, right-click AzureStack Switch SSHv2 and select Edit.
- Under General > General Authentication Parameters, enter the new credentials that are configured on the switches in User Password and Enable Password:



- Click Save.
- From the navigation menu, select the Resources tab.
- For each switch listed under Managed Resources, right-click the switch, choose Direct Access, and then choose Terminal from the list, as shown in the following figure:



- Confirm that the terminal launches and is logged in.
If the switch SNMP credentials have been modified, you must update the SNMP authentication profile in OpenManage Network Manager.
Procedure
To update the SNMP authentication profile:
- In a web browser, log in to https://<MGMTVM_IP>:8443/.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Under Authentications, find AzureStack Switch SNMPv3, as shown in the following figure:


- To open the Editing Authentication window, right-click AzureStack Switch SNMPv3 and select Edit.
- Under General > General Authentication Parameters, enter the new credentials that are configured on the switches in User Password and Enable Password:



- Click Save.
- From the navigation menu, select the Resources tab.
- For each switch listed under Managed Resources, right-click the switch, choose Resync from the list, as shown in the following figure:


- Click My Alert/Action History, and then click the magnifying glass icon for the resync job, as shown in the following figure:


- Wait a few minutes for the resync job to run, and then confirm that it has a Success status, as shown in the following figure:
