For each server in a default VxBlock 1000 configuration, the LAN and SAN traffic is distributed as follows:
- For the two 20 Gb HA VIC ports, a total of 40 Gb bandwidth is reserved for shared-converged LAN and SAN traffic. The partitioned SAN ports are vHBA0 and vHBA1, and the partitioned LAN ports are vNIC0 and vNIC3.
- For the other two 20 Gb HA VIC ports, a total of 40 Gb bandwidth is reserved for a dedicated LAN. The partitioned LAN ports are vNIC1 and vNIC2.
In the mixed workload environments, OLAP and OLTP traffic pass through both vHBA0 and vHBA1.
