IT staff leverage various tools to deploy, life cycle manage, scale, and optimize the DBaaS platform.
Microsoft Windows Admin Center is a browser-based management console that includes intuitive workflows for managing multiple layers of this solution architecture. Dell EMC OpenManage Integration with Microsoft Windows Admin Center provides automated cluster creation, cluster expansion, hardware monitoring, dynamic CPU core management, and 1-click full stack life cycle management with Cluster-Aware Updating. All communication between the management console and managed nodes is in-band and completely agent free using WinRM over WMI, OS-to-iDRAC passthrough, and Redfish technology.
Some solutions within the Azure Arc portfolio have already been mentioned. Azure Arc-enabled infrastructure is a collection of technologies that extends Azure services and management to on-premises infrastructure and other public cloud environments. It allows organizations to manage and operate all their IT resources at scale using Azure Resource Manager. Azure Arc plays an integral role at every layer of the DBaaS platform and is complementary and consistent with the capabilities of Windows Admin Center and the OpenManage Integration.
