This document discusses the combination of Linux and Oracle Database best practices. For this test case, we combined both the Linux and the Oracle database layer best practices and compared it to the results from first set of best practices (Adding Storage LUNs to ASM Disk Group). Table 1 describes the consolidated best practices for both Linux and Oracle databases.
