As generative artificial intelligence (AI) continues to impact the world, enterprises have begun to use the diverse productivity benefits that generative AI can offer. Generative AI models can vastly increase productivity and automate processes on a large scale. Currently, most models are trained on broad datasets. Large language models (LLMs) can learn from diverse datasets such as forums, articles, and social media. Enterprises are increasingly seeking to implement more specialized forms of AI that can assist them with their business. The general data parameters that many models currently use are too broad for many industries, preventing enterprises from harnessing the maximum potential of generative AI. To address this gap in generative AI specialization, the process of training or fine-tuning existing AI models was created.
To manage the large business use case that training generative AI models solve for specialized uses of generative AI, Dell Technologies has partnered with Hugging Face to introduce the Dell Enterprise Hub, an AI community platform that helps businesses leverage the power of generative AI. The models available on Dell Enterprise Hub are selected for their ease of use, scalability, and compatibility with Dell platforms. Two distinct types of models are available on Dell Enterprise Hub: deploy models and training models. The deploy models contain only the parameters that the publisher of the model has provided. These models are optimized and curated specifically for Dell AI Platforms. The training models have the additional value of being organized to train or fine-tune custom datasets while leveraging the parameters that are already included in the model.
