This Oracle database solution uses a PowerStore T model with a base enclosure that has 21 NVMe SSD drives and four extreme high-performance NVMe NVRAM drives that are designed for the PowerStore caching system. The size of each of the 21 NVMe SSDs was 1.92 TB, providing a total of 28.3 TB physical storage capacity.

The volumes in this solution are logically grouped and placed in different volume groups (folders in storage user interface). The volume group categories and volume design are explained in the following list:
Note: To show the application project for each volume, we used the application project code name ‘orabp22’ as the prefix for the volume group names which denotes Oracle Best practices in the year 2022.
