Considering the previously described best practices, because several policies could be configured on a cluster, make the Policy Name field descriptive enough for administrators to easily gather the policy workflow. A unique name makes it easy to recognize and manage. Use the Description field, if necessary, to provide additional descriptive information.
The Enable this policy checkbox is a powerful option that allows an administrator to start configuration before a target cluster or directory is ready for replication. Temporarily disabling a policy allows for a less intrusive option to deleting a policy when it may not be required. Further, after policy configuration is complete, the policy can be reviewed for a final check before it is enabled.
