Next, the host-based copy operation is done using RMAN duplicate command:
time rman target sys/<password>@slob1 auxiliary=sys/<password>@slob1 << EOF
run {
ALLOCATE AUXILIARY CHANNEL c1 DEVICE TYPE disk;
ALLOCATE AUXILIARY CHANNEL c2 DEVICE TYPE disk;
ALLOCATE AUXILIARY CHANNEL c3 DEVICE TYPE disk;
ALLOCATE AUXILIARY CHANNEL c4 DEVICE TYPE disk;
ALLOCATE AUXILIARY CHANNEL c5 DEVICE TYPE disk;
DUPLICATE PLUGGABLE DATABASE slobpdb as auxpdb TO SLOB
FROM ACTIVE DATABASE
DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT('DATA','AUX_DATA');
}
quit;
EOF
Note: At the time of the testing, due to a known Oracle bug, it was not possible to use SECTION SIZE syntax in the RMAN command to perform the copy in parallel.
