- Once a Target Is added, right click on the target and select add target.
- The default value is 0, click Ok to complete it.
Increase the iSCSI connection number and Bandwidth by modifying them on the targets configured under the pool.
- Right click on a target, and click Load Balancing.
- Change the Maximum bit rate (Mbps) to 1000, which is the maximum that is allowed in VRM.
- Change the Maximum number of iSCSI sessions to 800, which is the maximum that are allowed in VRM.
- Perform steps 1-3 on all Eight targets that were added to all 4 pools and apply the changes on BVMS.
Configuring LUNs on VRM to record the Data
- Expand a Pool and select target 0 from each added ISCSI target.
- Click Add and add the LUN IDs that were allocated on the ME storage. Note: One LUN ID can be assigned to a maximum of 128 cameras. Each pool has a maximum of 125-128 cameras, with two targets, one from each controller. Therefore, each target for a pool consists of a different set of LUN IDs, and those LUN IDs will only be mapped to the specific pool cameras.
- Select all the assigned LUNs and click on Format LUN.
- Click OK. The LUNs will format and complete the configuration of the LUNs on VRM. It is now ready to write data.
