The switch configuration commands in the chapters that follow begin with the leaf switches at their factory default settings. Dell EMC PowerSwitches running OS10EE can be reset to their default configuration as follows:
OS10# delete startup-configuration
Proceed to delete startup-configuration [confirm yes/no(default)]:y
OS10# reload
System configuration has been modified. Save? [yes/no]:n
Proceed to reboot the system? [confirm yes/no]:y
The switch reboots to its factory default configuration.
Note: OS10EE at its default settings has Telnet disabled, SSH enabled, and the OOB management interface that is configured to get its IP address using DHCP. The default username and password are both admin. Dell Technologies recommends changing the admin password to a complex password during the first login.
Table 6 shows the unique values for the four S5248F-ON switches. The table provides a summary of the configuration differences between each switch and each VLT switch pair.
