Our focus has primarily been on sizing the worker nodes. However, it is essential to consider the impact of the number of worker nodes and operators on the controller nodes in the Kubernetes platform. Although this impact will be relatively less significant compared to the worker nodes due to the smaller number of controller nodes, it still needs to be considered. The controller nodes handle the management and orchestration of the worker nodes. The number of worker nodes and the complexity of operators running on the platform influence the workload on the controller nodes. Ensuring adequate resources and scaling the controller nodes appropriately is essential to maintain optimal performance and stability in the Kubernetes cluster.
