Certain node server requirements must be met before an edge node can successfully register with a controller.
The edge node must be a VxRail satellite node which can be connected to the VxRail cluster. The following table shows the systems that have been validated by Dell Technologies for use in SE edge sites.

The VxRail satellite nodes are configured and deployed from the VxRail Manager running in the VxRail management cluster. The edge nodes can be monitored and controlled from the VxRail Manager itself (shown in the following figure).
