The Ipsotek CV partner was used because the most up to date metrics were gathered from v11.7.3 running with an A16 (for Sports and Entertainment). This was important to compare to an identical deployment running on Dell APEX.

The setup is as follows:

• Database (16 CPU, 64GB RAM, 200GB Disk)
• Management node (8 CPU, 34 GB RAM, 200GB Disk)
• Processing node (24 CPU, 64 RAM, 200 GB Disk + 400GB Disk, 1 x A16 GPU)

Compared to their CapEx based counterparts, VxRail and PowerScale, we found the Dell APEX Private Cloud and Dell APEX Data Storage Services configuration performed equally as well in our computer vision testing.

In the overall system test, 70 cameras were simulated by Milestone and connected to the Ipsotek CV components. The max camera test enables cameras in Ipsotek until no more can be enabled. This test ran on a single processing node that has an A16 GPU (4 x A2 GPU) as expected. As in the past, 60 cameras were supported with this configuration.

The CPU and GPU metrics were gathered for the APEX platform. Consistent with previous validations, no issues were found.
