  • The following solution used Esri ArcGIS CityEngine and NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise hosted on a Dell PowerEdge 760xa accelerated server. Both CityEngine and Omniverse Enterprise were deployed as a virtualized instance allowing a flexible infrastructure configuration. For example, the splitting of physical GPUs resources into vGPU partitions can prove immensely beneficial when developing GIS and Digital Twin workflows.

    The Dell PowerEdge 760xa is positioned to meet diverse workflow needs such as 3D modeling, physics simulations, image rendering, Computer Vision (CV), edge computing, spatial data science, and AI training and inferencing.

    The functionality and validation that is discussed below was tested on a nonproduction CV system configuration and deployed in a Dell Technologies engineering lab.
