This section defines the general requirements for configuring APEX Cloud Platform for Azure with PowerFlex.
- MC node and PowerFlex node hardware requirements
  When planning to order APEX Cloud Platform for Azure, you must determine whether you intend to consume PowerFlex block storage from your Azure Stack HCI cluster. For this configuration, each MC node must have a total of six 25 GbE Ethernet adapter ports.
- Networking requirements
  You must use network switches that are listed in the Dell APEX Cloud Platform for Microsoft Azure Support Matrix for Azure Stack HCI cluster compute and storage connectivity. At least two Top of Rack (ToR) switches are required to create a highly available network infrastructure.
- Deployment model requirements
  APEX Cloud Platform for Azure running Azure Stack HCI baseline release 2405 or higher can be configured to consume storage from new PowerFlex clusters or PowerFlex clusters already running in your IT environment.
- Day 2 operations
  All Day 1-N operational tasks in an APEX Cloud Platform for Azure with PowerFlex configuration are accomplished using several tools. The APEX Cloud Platform for Azure delivers a consistent hybrid management experience.
