Dell Engineering installed the SDC driver on each of the Azure Stack HCI cluster nodes. This driver enabled the communication to the PowerFlex cluster over the dedicated, non-routable PowerFlex storage VLANs. The driver was also responsible for presenting the block storage volumes that were created in PowerFlex Manager to the Azure Stack HCI operating system on each cluster node as raw disks. This allowed the creation of NTFS-formatted Clustered Shared Volumes in Windows Admin Center that could be consumed by all nodes on the Azure Stack HCI Cluster.
