Use an Ansible blueprint file to perform tasks on the infrastructure of an environment.
The following use case is specific to Ansible blueprints deployed on a high availability (HA) environment. You must generate an SSH key and enter the public and private key information in the blueprint and hosts file. The following steps must be completed in chronological order when deploying the sample Ansible blueprint file in this chapter.
- Generate a secure shell (SSH) key in the controller node after installing the Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite (Automation Suite) to establish a connection between the pod and the remote host. The connection enables the script to be deployed to run the required operations. For more information about generating an SSH key, see Generate an SSH key.
- Update the blueprint and hosts files with the SSH details and upload the blueprint.
- Create the deployment.
