You can use either a REST API client to access the Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite CCP API and issue commands. The Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite REST API Guide is available on the Developer portal.
The CCP API is accessed through the VM that has the Global Controller (CP1) configured. The direct-access port for gRPC calls is port 7070 on the VM of the Global Controller (CP1). REST API calls are made on port 443/80 of the Global Controller (CP1) node.
The HTTP/REST gateway acts as a reverse proxy for the CCP API service and converts the HTTP/REST calls it receives into gRPC before forwarding to the CCP API. Similarly, the gRPC response from the CCP API is converted into the HTTP/REST response for the REST API client.
