Resource status indicates the state of a compute resource. This is useful to track the progress of a resource as it undergoes state changes after certain actions or commands are applied.
Resource status is useful in the following scenarios:
- Day to day operational tasks.
- Diagnosing problems and planning corrective actions.
The following table describes the possible resource states that display in the Status column:
Icon | States | Description |
Busy | Indicates that one or more command executions are in progress. | |
Ready | Indicates that after a successful command execution, the resource goes into the Ready state. It can also indicate that Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite is ready to run the next command in a sequence. | |
Failed | Indicates a failure in command execution even after maximum retries. This can happen in several scenarios. For example, because of a network outage or incorrect credentials. During retry, the state changes to Busy . | |
Unknown | Indicates an unknown resource status. |
