- Create the VLAN and provide a description.
- Set the maximum transmission unit (MTU) size to 9216 bytes for best performance.
- On Layer 3 VLANs, enable neighbor suppression to minimize the flooding of ARP broadcast traffic.
- Bind the VLAN to the tenant VRF.
- If the VLAN is Layer 3, assign an IP anycast address that is the same on all leaf switches in the leaf-spine fabric.
