This chapter shows the Dell Technologies Enterprise SONiC configuration commands for Leaf1A and Leaf1B for single or multirack deployments. It also shows the commands for Spine1 and Spine2 for multirack deployments.
Configurations for the remaining leaf and spine switches in the example multirack topology are similar, but are not detailed in this chapter. Full configuration files for all switches in this deployment example are provided as attachments to this guide. The files include the SONiC 4.1.1 default settings plus the nondefault settings that are covered in this chapter. To access the files, see Attachments.
no_lacp. All other leaf switch configuration file attachments use LACP. The spine switch configurations for this deployment are the same regardless of the LACP configuration on the leaf switches.
The configuration commands that are listed in this chapter can be edited and applied to the applicable switches in the order shown. All switches in this example start at their factory default configuration. A Dell PowerSwitch network switch that is running Dell Technologies Enterprise SONiC can be returned to its factory settings by:
- Running write erase install
- Answering y when prompted
- Rebooting the switch
- Log in as
admin
. - Enter the default password

, and change the password when prompted.
