PowerFlex as Tier 1 Storage

  • Findings

    • We observe bandwidth utilization of ~750 MB/s for all 12 recorders which is far below the maximum limit of our observed value of ~1.3 GB/s for 90/10 write to read ratio of 256 K blocks with 10 millisecond latency.
    • The latency is on average 1.7 milliseconds which is more than sufficient for Milestone.
    • The PowerFlex HCI cluster can handle the VMS and CV workloads without issue.
