PowerFlex appliances support two different network architecture that can provide different performance and scaling characteristics.
- Access and aggregation: a traditional hierarchical network model structured in layers, typically involving three main layers: access, aggregation (or distribution), and core.
- Leaf-spine: a more modern network topology aimed at data center networking to overcome the scalability and performance limitations of the traditional three-tier model.
