To onboard a Windows Server, perform the following steps.
- In the OMNI management portal, click the Service Instance. For example, Fabric-01.
- Click Server Interface:
- Click Import from Fabric.
- Select the proper interfaces for the Windows Server.
Note: The interfaces can be verified using the show lldp neighbors command on the switches and matching the MAC addresses with the ipconfig/all command in Windows Server.
- To add both interfaces to a server profile, perform the following steps:
- Use an existing Server Profile or create one.
- Set the Server Profile ID. This example a new Server Profile is created ( Windows).
- Set the Bonding Type. This example uses AutoDetect.
- Click Associate.
- Select both Windows Server interfaces.
- Select the + Add Networks option.
- Set the proper network tagging for the Windows Server. This example has the Management network 1811 untagged.
- Click Add.
- From the Discovered Server Interface screen, select both Windows interfaces.
- Click Create.
