In the vSphere Client, select Menu > OpenManage Network Integration.
Note: You can alternatively access OMNI UI using the OMNI stand-alone page. Use the IP address of OMNI in a web browser and select LAUNCH OMNI FABRIC MANAGEMENT PORTAL.
In the left pane, click the SmartFabric instance.
In the right menu, select Network.
Expand the VxLAN Networks listing and select the CREATEbutton to create the first network.
In the Create Virtual Networkdialog box, provide the details:
Select Layer 3 or Layer 2 as the Virtual Network Type.
Enter Virtual Network Name.
Set VxLAN VNI and VLT VLAN Id.
Select IPv4 to add an IPv4 address.
Add IP Address for each leaf switch.
Add Prefix.
Provide Gateway IP Address.
Provide DHCP Helper Address if needed.
Click CREATE.
Select the newly created Virtual network.
On the right panel, under VxLAN Details, click + CREATE to create the associated VLAN ID.
Enter the VxLAN Network ID, Network Name, Vlan, Virtual Network, and Descriptionin the fields provided.
Click CREATE.
Repeat steps 4-10 to create other networks such as VM networks and map the VLAN with VxLAN network.
To apply the newly created network to a device, select Server Interface on the top menu.
Select the Server Interface ID to map the networks created.
Click EDIT NETWORKS.
In the dialog box, select the tagged and untagged networks.
Note: In this example, the newly created networks are selected.
Select EDIT.
Repeat steps 12 to 16 to edit the networks for other associated Server Interface IDs.
Validate the networks by connecting to the console of a leaf switch and run the show virtual-networkcommand:
