Specify a backup source

  • This example shows how to back up a VM from a vSphere system.

    1. In the Veeam Backup & Replication management UI, select Inventory > Virtual Infrastructure, and click Add Server.

    1. Select your virtual environment server.

    In this example, we select VMware vSphere and then vSphere.

    1. Enter the connectivity details of the system.

    1. Add your credentials.

    1. Click Apply and then Continue if you are using a self-signed untrusted certificate, as in this example.

    1. Click Finish.
