Deleting backup jobs

  • Deleting a backup job removes all the objects that are associated with the backup job from the local backup repository and object repository.

    1. In the Veeam management UI, select Home > Backups > Disk.
    1. Right-click each of the backup jobs and select Delete from disk.

    1. Select Yes to delete all associated objects from the primary repository and the scale-out repository (ECS).

    1. Use S3 Browser or another utility to review the ECS bucket and verify that all the objects have been deleted.

    If Object Lock retention has not expired, the content will not be deleted.
