Physical architecture

  • The high-level architecture for Milestone with Tiger Surveillance is as follows:

    In the previous diagram, the Tiger Surveillance components are used in two places for this solution:

    1. The plugins are installed on the XProtect Management server and configured using the standard XProtect UI.
    2. The Storage drivers get installed on each Recorder server to extend the local volume to either on-premises enterprise storage (such as PowerScale) or an S3-compliant cloud provider (such as Azure).
