  • This solution leverages Tiger Surveillance integration with Milestone XProtect to expand storage beyond the typical capacities available with vSAN storage commonly used for Milestone Tier 1.

    Milestone XProtect

    The VMS system software and versions tested were:

    • Windows Server 2019 Operating System
    • XProtect Corporate 2022 R3
      • Management Servers
      • Recorder Nodes
      • SQL Server Databases

    Tiger Surveillance

    The Tiger Surveillance 2.0.0.138 binary for Windows was installed on each recorder. The same version was installed on the Milestone XProtect Management server to allow easy management of Tiger Surveillance using the Milestone user interface.

    The prerequisites for recording servers are:

    • .NET 4.8 Framework
    • Access to the expansion storage (PowerScale/Cloud)
    • Ports 443 open outbound
    • Ports 8536 and 8537 open outbound to the Management Server
    • Special configuration is required if there is a proxy server when accessing the Internet
