Raw point data captured from a LiDAR sensor is not typically persisted to a storage device. In a typical application environment, raw data is processed directly from the sensor to generate events and then discarded. These events can then be transmitted to a third-party application for management as needed. We followed this pattern during testing so no special consideration was made for storage of point cloud data during this testing.
