- Determine where on the web server you want to upload the image or binary file. For example, ISO files are uploaded to the isos folder in the web server.
- For high availability, images and binary files are uploaded to the web server located on the Global Controller site.
- Before upload Red Hat Enterprise Linux ISO version 8.6, you must increase the client_body_buffer_size attribute in the nginx-configmap to 100 MB. Otherwise, a timeout error can occur. To update the buffer size, do the following:
- Log in to the VM hosting the Global Controller and run the following command to edit the nginx-configmap file:
sudo kubectl edit cm -n gc nginx-configmap

Add the following line to nginx-configmap, and then save the file:
client_body_buffer_size 100M;
- Log in to the VM hosting the Global Controller and run the following command to edit the nginx-configmap file:
You can use the Bare Metal Orchestrator CLI to upload ISO images, firmware images, json files, and more to folders located in the web server.
