During Bare Metal Orchestrator installation, an IAM admin user is created and you are prompted to provide a password for the user.
A kubeconfig file is created for this admin user and stored in /etc/rancher/rke2/config_admin.yaml. The kubeconfig file is required for authentication of a user. For information about how this user is created, see the Bare Metal Orchestrator Installation Guide
After installing Bare Metal Orchestrator, to log in to the CLI for the first time, see Log in to the command line interface.
After the admin logs in to the CLI for the first time, to create, and manage subsequent users with different roles (including admin role), see Managing users.
To use the CLI as a remote client, see Use the CLI as a remote client.
To log in to the web user interface for the first time after installation, see the Bare Metal Orchestrator Installation Guide.
